The Journal of Neuroscience has just published a new study about children who have taken music lesson for at least two years, just didn’t get better at playing their instrument, but also helped their brains process language.    A non-profit school in Los Angeles called the Harmony Project teaches music to low income students.    Multiple facets can affect the outcome – students passion and drive to be in the program to the process of music study itself – have shown improvements in the child’s ability to learn.   Read or listen more from this NPR Article HERE
